The book, "The Christian poet of Zion – Memorial volume for Father Marcel-Jacques Dubois", edited by Avital Wohlman and Yossef Schwartz (2012), was published by the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem. On the Institute's website, is written:

"What remains today of Christian faith in the divine plan? What is the place preserved for the Jews in this plan, and for those who are not Jews and not even Christians? This question is posed at the heart of Christian theology in the 20th century – especially after the Shoah, the establishment of the State of Israel and the decisions of the Second Vatican Council. The Dominican friar Marcel-Jacques Dubois (1920-2007) dedicated his life and his spiritual and intellectual force to dealing with this issue. As a result, in 1962, he left his native France and settled in Jerusalem. Professor Dubois was the head of the Philosophy Department at Hebrew University. For the project of his life, he won the Israel Prize in 1996.

This book is a collection of articles and notes that were written by the colleagues of Brother Marcel Dubois both from the academic world and from the Catholic Church. The articles deal with three main subjects, reflecting the fields of activity of Dubois and thus highlighting his personality: teaching philosophy, theological discourse and building a bridge in Jewish-Christian dialogue. Religion is clearly in this book not an easy solution for the one seeking dogmatic answers to his or her questions but rather the source of inspiration for the one who seeks to continue wrestling with them. Dialogue, as it is discussed in these articles, is the fruit of a meeting between people who identify in one another common questions and interrogations about similar questions."
