Communiqué: H.B Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, conveys his condolences to the families and to the friends of the victims in the shooting at a Jewish school in Toulouse, France.

The funeral of the four victims was held in the Har Hamenouhot cemetery, in Jerusalem on Wednesday, March 22 in the morning.

The Patriarch condemns this act in its violence and injustice especially when children are affected. H.B. Fouad Twal recalls that the Synod for the Middle East (2010) ended with a call to communion and peace in its Message to the People of God: “We condemn violence and terrorism wherever they come from, and all religious extremism.”

With prayer, he reiterated that all religions must fight against all forms of hatred.
