Beginning of catechism in Tel Aviv

On Saturday, September 6, 2014, the new year for catechism began on Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv.

About 120 children attended the first lesson in the new school year that began at the Pastoral Center. This year, once again, the children were divided into four levels:

- those who are preparing to receive first communion, who study with Father Piotr and Benny, the seminarian;

- those who received first communion and continue their faith journey by getting to know better the history of salvation, with Kirill;

- those who are preparing to receive confirmation, who study with Father David;

- those who have received confirmation and continue their faith journey with Sister Claudia.

It was an exciting and busy afternoon as the children spent time in class learning and then gathered for mass. All the children and catechists are Hebrew speaking, underlining the need for close collaboration between the Coordination for the Pastoral among Migrants and the Saint James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics.
