Amir Anton Michel Franjieh, a pupil in the Holy Family School, belonging to the Latin Patriarchate, received one of the top scores in the recent “Tawjihi” examinations, at the end of high school. Amir came fourth in the Gaza Strip and fourteenth throughout the Palestinian Territories. Amir hopes to study medicine abroad and then return to serve his people as a doctor. In an interview, he mentioned the difficulties of life in Gaza, particularly the cuts in electricity that make studying difficult and he noted his debt of gratitude to the former parish priest of Gaza, Father Manuel Musallem, founder of the Holy Family School.

Mazal tov Amir and we wish you much success!
