Busy weekend in the Indian Chaplaincy


On October 20 and 21, 2017, the Indian Chaplaincy organized two events, a charismatic healing retreat and a marriage preparation course. Father Tojy, the Indian chaplain reports:

The Indian Chaplaincy organized a charismatic healing retreat in the Konkani language at Beit Dani Hall in Tel Aviv on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 8.00 to 17.00. It was led by Father Valerian Fernandes, SVD and Brother T.K. George from Mangalore, India. There was also the opportunity for confession and Holy Mass was celebrated. The main celebrant was Father Ephraim Dias and con-celebrated by fathers: Valerian Fernandes, Evan Gomes, Stany D’Cunha, Thomas Simon Lobo, Sylvester D’Costa and Alben Hubert D’Silva. About 1000 people attended this retreat. Many people experienced divine grace and healing during the retreat. Refreshment and lunch was served for all.

A two-day marriage preparation course in the Konkani language was organized by the Indian Chaplaincy on Friday and Saturday October 20 and 21, 2017. It was conducted by Father Evan Gomes SVD from Mangalore. There were 44 participants and at the end of the course completion certificates were distributed to the participants.
