Elena Dobos of blessed memory
Elena, a pillar of our kehillot, passed away on the night of Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. She was 92 years old at the time of her death.
Elena, originally from Rumania, a member of the group "Pax Nostra", arrived in Israel in 1958 and was active in the kehillah of Jaffa for decades. Towards the end of her life she moved to Jerusalem and there frequented the kehilla. She will be buried on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Convent of the Sisters of Sion in Ein Karem.
Elena is remembered for her quiet service, her love of others and her strong faith. She will be missed but her memory is a source of blessing!
