On August 29, 2017, Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, wrote a letter to the Coordination of the Pastoral Among Migrants team and to the migrant communities regarding the resignation of Father David.

resignation

To all the priests working in Pastoral Ministry to Asylum seekers and Migrants,
To all our faithful migrants and foreign workers in Israel,
To all the sisters, volunteers and pastoral workers
To all our communities in Israel,

The Lord give you peace!

As you already know, Father David resigned from his responsibility as Coordinator for the Pastoral Among Migrants (CPAM).

I wish to express publicly my gratitude and that of all the diocese for these years of service of Father David to the community, during which the CPAM became a structured, efficient and important reference for the life of thousands of faithful, most of them living in a very difficult social conditions. It is important that the legacy Father David is leaving to us, consisting of volunteers, activities and a passion for the community and the Church, be preserved and invested in for the future.

I am sure we all can count on your support and collaboration.

A new Coordinator will be named soon.

We wish to Father David every good in his new activities.

In Christ,
+Pierbattista Pizzaballa
Apostolic Administrator
