Supporting the studies of our children

Twelve children are currently registered at the education center that we, as Catholic Church, are running together with the Israeli NGOs Mesila and KIDDUM. These children, aged between 8 to 12, are receiving learning support twice a week for three hours. The program only began in the second term of the recent school year, yet the children are showing great improvements in their studies. Their teachers at school are reporting that the children are more confident due to their improved learning skills.

At the end of the school year the kids together with Iffat - their teacher at the education center - volunteers and parents went by train to Acre. During an especially hot day they visited the underground tunnels built by the Templars, enjoying some quality time together and getting to know each other better.
