An angel visits us

Sharon writes: “This is a painting that is inspired by the 17th century Italian painter Carlo Dolci. The technique used is oils on wood and the subject is a detail, the portrait of the angel, from the work of Dolci which describes the moment of the annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary.”
