Tel Aviv Municipality lit up with colors of Egyptian flag

On Saturday evening, May 27, 2017, a day after the shooting attack in which 29 Coptic Christians were murdered, the Tel Aviv municipality building was lit up with the colors of the Egyptian flag.

This is the first time that the colors of the flag of an Arab country were shown on the building. However, lighting up the building is a tradition in Tel Aviv in recent years. In the past, the building was lit up with the colors of the French flag, after the attack in Paris, the Russian flag after the attack in Saint Petersburg, the gay pride flag after the massacre in Orlando. This also happened after the attack in Manchester last week.
