Sri Lankan Feast of Our Lady

About two hundred Sri Lankan Catholics from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Netanya gathered for the mass that was celebrated by Latin Patriarchal Vicar Rev. David Neuhaus on the occasion of this annual feast. The joyful mass was celebrated in English but the responses and songs were in Sinhala. After the mass, the faithful processed through the neighborhood, carrying an image of Mary and singing sons in her honor. The feast concluded with a sumptuous meal, served in the courtyard of the pastoral center.
