The Anglican priest, Rev. Emad Daibes welcomed the request of the Catholic Coordination for the Pastoral Among Migrants to host a monthly mass for the Malayalam speaking community in the small Anglican church in the coastal city of Acre. The first mass was celebrated by Father Tojy Jose OFM, the chaplain of the Indian Catholics in the Holy Land.

The Anglican church of Saint Savior was rededicated in February 2017 by the Anglican Archbishop of Jerusalem Suheil Dawani

The Catholic mass in Malayalam in Acre will be celebrated once a month on the fourth Saturday of the month in Acre. We are very grateful for another sign of Church unity and solidarity in the Holy Land.
