At the beginning of November, Saints Simeon and Anne House in Jerusalem became the seat of the Vicariate for the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities in Israel. For the first time in the history of the Vicariate, thanks to the Franciscans, the Vicariate has a permanent seat. Three priests and two lay people, who help in the life of the kehillot, live in the house. From Monday to Friday, the residents of the house gather at 7.00 to pray lauds (morning prayer) and each day, from Sunday to Saturday, a mass is celebrated at 18.30. All prayers are in Hebrew.

The residents in the house are:
- Father David Neuhaus, Patriarchal Vicar for the kehillot in Israel and responsible for the Jerusalem kehilla.
- Father Jakub Weksler, a retired priest from the diocese of Lublin, Poland, who is studying Hebrew and Judaism.
- Father Piotr Zelazko, a Polish priest doing his doctorate at the Franciscan Bible School in Jerusalem.
- Benedetto DiBitonto, an Italian layman who helps direct the music in the Jerusalem and Jaffa communities.
- Laszlo, a Hungarian layman, a member of the Focolari Movement, studying Hebrew and Judaism at the Hebrew University.

The residents of the house do their best to implement the vision of a community that speaks Hebrew at all times and in all circumstances.
