Charismatic retreats were organized by the Indian Chaplaincy for the Konkani and Malayalam speaking faithful in the Holy Land in preparation for the celebration of Easter. The retreats were held at the Greek Melkite Catholic Church in Jaffa and we thank Father Boulos Armali, the parish priest, for allowing us to use his church.

For the Malayalam speaking community, the retreat was on Saturday, March 18, 2017. It was led by Fathers Paul, Biju and Varghese from Jerusalem. There were about 200 people who participated. For the Konkani speaking community, it was on Saturday, March 25, 2017. It was led by Fr. Frolic Fernandes ofm cap from Mangalore, India. There were about 350 people who attended this retreat. There was also the opportunity for confession and Holy Mass was celebrated. Many people experienced divine grace and healing during the retreat. Refreshment and lunch was served for all those present.
