Jaffa kehilla on the Via Dolorosa
The Jaffa kehilla went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem on March 25, 2017 as is the custom during Lent.
On Saturday morning, March, 25, members of the Jaffa kehilla went to Jerusalem to celebrate the Way of the Cross. Members of our community, including children, prepared short meditations for each of the stations. We finished our prayer in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
We returned the chapel of the Jerusalem kehilla and celebrated mass and also had a picnic lunch there.
In the afternoon, we went to Mount Zion to visit the Cenacle and the Dormition Abbey.
