On Saturday, January 21, 2017, the Charlotta Chorale from Tel Aviv, conducted by Eli Geffen, gave a concert in Our lady Woman of Valor in south Tel Aviv to celebrate the World Migrants’ Day.

This was the second time the Chorale has performed in the OLWV Pastoral Center, the first time being on March 24, 2014, shortly after the Center opened. The concert took place in the chapel and was attended by members of the parish. The music that was performed was very diverse: classical Western pieces mixed with Jewish songs in Hebrew and Ladino and more modern upbeat pieces.

The event was a ray of light and the conductor, Eli Geffen, inspired all present with his energy and intensity. Eli, born in Vienna to a Jewish family, turned 93 a month ago.
