According to reports from Pakistan, 17 million people have been harmed by the floods in the country. 4.5 million of them have been left homeless. Entire villages were destroyed and among them Christian villages too.

Members of the communities in Jerusalem, Beer Sheba, Jaffa, Haifa and Tiberias collected 4600 shekels which will be handed over to the American Catholic agency "Catholic Relief Services" that belongs to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. This agency is working in Pakistan. The financial contribution is a sign of solidarity and we keep on praying for the victims of the natural tragedy and those who survived and must now rebuild their lives and their country.
