Christmas meeting for Desert Flower

Most of the meeting was focused on the theme of Christmas. On Friday, Benny animated an activity about art. We deepened our understanding through interpreting together icons connected to Christmas according to principles explained to us by Benny. The icons underline the belief that Jesus is the light of the world. Afterwards, we went out for a short walk around the monastery and into the hills that are nearby. Everyone participated in some social games animated by Benny and Daniel. That evening, we watched a movie connected to Christmas.

On Saturday, we held a concluding meeting about the trip to Poland in the summer and discussed the experiences we had. The nuns in the monastery showed us the place where they pray and a priest from Bulgaria spoke with us and offered us some chocolate from Bulgaria. We parted from one another just before the beginning of the new year of 2017.
