Do children understand better…?


Ohad, an eleven year old from Sderot, on the border with Gaza, drew a drawing that describes the grim reality of our country. Does he understand better than the heads of government in the region?

According to the report in YNET, Ohad drew his drawing during a workshop organized for children and those responsible reported: “At first, we had suspicions that the moment we would allow the children to express themselves, they would bring up venom, fears and hatred. But the drawing of Ohad brought back color to our faces. We understood that children see reality no less well than we do, and perhaps in an even cleaner way. Ohad gave us his drawing as a gift and before we left he said that he was sure that the children in Gaza could be his friends and that they could draw together.”
