Israeli State President Mr. Shimon Peres will visit Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
On the day of the beginning of the Israel-Palestinian peace talks in Washington, the State President, Mr. Shimon Peres, will visit Pope Benedict XVI. The President will be received by the Pope in his summer residence at Castel Gandolfo. The meeting will be one of the first held by the Pope after his summer holiday.
