Christmas at OLWV

Christmas masses began on Friday evening and continued until Sunday morning. Thousands thronged to the church in order to participate in the celebrations.

On Saturday morning, four children were baptized. This joyful celebration was followed by a Christmas party for the children. About 150 children, most of whom are studying catechism in the center, participated. The children sang and danced and played games. At the end of the party, there was a distribution of gifts and a tasty lunch followed. At 14.00, the children gathered and learnt about the meaning of Christmas. At 15.00, a mass was celebrated in Hebrew by Father David, who stressed in his homily that we must make place in our hearts, homes and communities for the Divine Child who has come.
