Advent at OLWV

There are eight Sunday masses at the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv – two on Friday evening, five on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. Advent preparation has started. A beautiful tradition of lighting the four candles, placed in an ever-green advent wreath, calls the faithful to the immediate preparation for the "coming of the Lord" in our own lives and in our Christian community. The youngest member of the community together with the parents lit the first candle to symbolize the hope for the future, and the coming of the Light into the World of Darkness, the Savior of the World, Jesus Christ.
