Sukkot retreat in Russian for women

For two days, Sunday and Monday, October 16 and 17, 2016, a group of Russian speaking women from the kehilla of Latroun gathered for a retreat at the Beit Jemal monastery, near Beit Shemesh.

Father Wieslaw, the priest responsible for Russian speaking Catholics in southern Israel, invited a group of women from his community to take two days of prayer and community building. The women, mothers and grandmothers, who came with their children, made use of the end of the Sukkot vacation to have an intense spiritual experience with daily mass, spiritual exercises and interpersonal communication. The men of the community had already benefitted from a similar experience in June.
