On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the ninth president of the State of Israel, passed away at the age of 93.
Two weeks after he had a stroke, the heart of Shimon Peres stopped. He had been president, prime minister, minister of defense and advisor to Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. His funeral is due to take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11.00.
