On Saturday, September 10, 2016, Rev. Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, will be ordained archbishop in Bergamo, Italy.
We, in the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities in Israel, pray, in a special way, for Father Pierbattista, who we fondly remember from his time as responsible for the kehilla in Jerusalem and then as Patriarchal Vicar for Hebrew speaking Catholics, a position in which he served from 2005 until 2008.
May the Lord strengthen him in his service and may the Spirit guide his every step.
