Thank you to all the kaytana volunteers

As the new school year approaches, the kaytanot come to an end. This year, 2016, a new record was set with regard to the activities of the Vicariate for children in the summer.

The summer activities began with ten days of camp in the shrine of Our Lady of Palestine in Deir Rafat. This was followed by six weeks of summer activities in Jerusalem and one week of activities in Tel Aviv. None of this would have been possible without the hard work and generosity of many different people. We want to thank them here:

- Thank you to the permanent staff of the Vicariate who work with the children: Claudia from Italy, Sister Claudia from Italy, Daniel from Israel, Guillaume and Amandine from France, Ainsley from the United States, Fadia from Palestine, Sister Erika from Germany.

- Thanks to the many foreign volunteers who passed through the Vicariate during the summer: Sister Sara from the Little Family of the Annunciation, Tareq and Miguel from the Neo-Catechumenal Way, Wojtek and Mateusz from the Major Seminary of Drohiczyn in Poland, Ryan from the Venerable English College in Rome, Samuela, Marta, Anna Maria and Daniel from Italy, Carol from Brazil and the wonderful group of twelve young people led by Don Andrea from Italy.

- Thanks to the members of the Vicariate community, especially to Ronny and Benny, the Jerusalem kehilla, especially Father Rafic, the Haifa kehilla, especially Father Roman, the youth of Desert Flower and the youth of south Tel Aviv and the team at Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in Tel Aviv.

- Thanks to the Salesian Fathers and the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission who offered us their premises. Our children enjoyed every minute and we hope we did not completely demolish your property or your peace of mind.

- And thank you to our benefactors: to Church in Need, to Pontifical Mission, to World Vision and to all those who have contributed in big or small ways to our work!
