Hebrew Speaking Catholic communities contribute to Haiti relief
The Hebrew Speaking Catholic communities in Israel decided to collect contributions during the Sunday mass for relief in Haiti.
Members of the communities in Jerusalem, Beer Sheba, Jaffa and Haifa collected 17500 shekels which will be handed over to the American Catholic agency "Catholic Relief Services" that belongs to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. This agency is working in Haiti. The financial contribution is a sign of solidarity and we keep on praying for the victims of the natural tragedy and those who survived and must now rebuild their lives and their country.
