In the morning, we went to the town of Kalwaria. We set off as a group in order to walk the Way of the Cross of Jesus on Friday. In order to reach the church, we had to climb up a hill that demanded some effort. When we arrived, Father Apolinary told us the history of the place in which there are about seventy chapels. After that we entered into one of the chapels and Father Apolinary celebrated the mass in Hebrew which really moved us because we had been hearing the celebration of the mass for days in other languages which we could not understand and finally we experienced the mass in a language we could understand and we could sing the songs with all our hearts.

After mass, we went to the beginning of the route of the Way of the Cross of Jesus. When we reached the first station we were already hypnotized by the beauty all around us. With the help of Father Apolinary, who asked us to enter into the silence and to be with ourselves and with the Lord, slowly we indeed entered into the spiritual atmosphere.

Every station has a statue or a chapel. At each of the stations, some of the youth read from the prayer book in Hebrew and informed us about the station we had reached. The panorama was amazing and the atmosphere deeply spiritual. Not only among us was the atmosphere created one of prayer but also among the other groups who had come to experience the Way of the Cross. There was a calming quiet with voices echoing from the other groups who were also praying and singing. The green all around enchanted us all equally.

When we reached the last station after about an hour and a half, Benny ended with a prayer in song, full of emotion that not only moved us but also the others who were around us.
