Saint Lorenzo Ruiz community: act of mercy in the Year of Mercy

The Year of Mercy is an invitation to love, kindness, and generosity and San Lorenzo Ruiz Community started to show love and care to baby Israela Sinisan by giving her some financial aid. She has ventricular septal defect (VSD), a hole in the heart, a common heart defect that is present at birth. She had to be operated on as early as at the age of seven months. With all the prayers, love, and support of her friends and relatives, Israela and her parents were able to deal with this crisis in their lives. She underwent open-heart surgery last March 2016 and has continuous monthly check-ups and therapy every other week. She will be baptized this September in celebration of her first birthday.

Last week, we handed over our financial help to the parents of Israela.
