Priests' meeting – May 6, 2016

Present at the meeting were twelve of the thirteen priests, including the priests responsible for the communities in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Haifa, Nazareth, Tiberias and Beer Sheba, and both priests working with the Russian-speaking communities.

The meeting began with a time to share on the Gospel that will be read on Sunday, at the liturgy. This was followed by news from the different communities.

In addition the following subjects were also discussed:
- feedback on the Community Day on April 24, 2016.
- feedback on the Passover/Easter children’s camp held in Deir Rafat between April 24 and 27, 2016.
- feedback on the study day on Nostra Aetate held in Jaffa on April 30, 2016.
- planning for the children’s camp in the summer.
- planning for the youth participation in the World Youth Day in Cracow.
- planning for the priests’ retreat to be held in October.

The meeting was followed by lunch together. The next meeting of the priests will take place on June 3, 2016.
