Year anniversary of charismatic prayer in the Haifa kehilla

This evening, on Sunday, February 28, 2016, we celebrated the first anniversary of our little group that began to meet in our kehilla in order to pray in Hebrew in the style of charismatic prayer. In this kind of prayer, we prayer more spontaneously, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, opening ourselves to her gifts. It is a special experience when instead of learning who the Holy Spirit is, we discern her real presence in our lives and we sense her guidance in our prayers. All our knowledge about God, about Jesus, about the Holy Spirit becomes a living, spiritual experience that occurs in the here and now, right here in our kehilla. The way is still long and there is still much that we must learn regarding how to open ourselves to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, however, in every meeting we give thanks to God, who is so close to us through this prayer.
