Lenten retreat in the Indian community
Father Tojy OFM, Indian chaplain in the Holy Land, reports on Lenten retreats held on February 13 and 14, 2016.
A series of Lenten charismatic retreats were organized by the Indian Chaplaincy for the Malayalam speaking faithful in the Holy Land in preparation for the Easter.
On Saturday February 13, 2016 in the Jaffa Terra Santa School Hall from 9.00 to 15.00 and on Sunday February 14, 2016 in the Jerusalem Terra Santa College Chapel from13.00 to 17.00 pm. About 500 people attended these retreats. Refreshment was served to all those present.
These retreats were preached by Fr. Anto Nayangara CMI. He is a well-known charismatic retreat preacher in India. There was also an opportunity for confession and Holy Masses were celebrated. Many people experienced divine grace and healing during these retreats.
