New afterschool program in OLWV

At the beginning of February 2016, the Pastoral Center teamed up with Mesilla to begin a modest after school program in the church in the Pastoral Center. To begin, six children from the migrant community come to the church for two hours in the afternoon in order to receive help with their homework from a team of volunteers. It is hoped that this program will develop and thus offer aid to the migrant children integrated in the Israeli, Hebrew language schools of south Tel Aviv.

A similar project was begun in the Vicariate house in Jerusalem in 2014.
