We came to pray in all languages in the name of all religions

The President elect Reuven Rivlin spoke thus at the mass demonstration in solidarity with Naftali, Gilad and Eyal, the three kidnapped youth, in Tel Aviv on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

About eighty thousand people came to demonstrate in solidarity with the three youth in Tel Aviv and their mothers spoke before the crowds. “I stood in Rabin Square with tens of thousands of Israelis from all sectors and from all confessions in a exhilarating show of unity, in a common Israeli prayer,” said Rivlin. One of the mothers also thanked the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas for his efforts to release the youth.

And we too, in our kehillot, continue to pray and to hope….
