Our brother Alberto ordained deacon

In a moving mass, eight Franciscans were ordained to the diaconate and one Franciscan to the priesthood in Saint Savior’s Church in the Old City of Jerusalem. The ordaining bishop was the Apostolic Nuncio in Israel, Archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto.

Among the eight deacons was our brother Alberto, who has served in the kehillot for a number of years already. We wish him, his family and his brothers “mazal tov” and we pray for him and his service of the body of Christ.
