In September 2014, the first family unit day care with six infants was opened in the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv. Father David appointed Sister Dinesha as the director of the family unit day care. In September 2015, an additional family unit day care was opened in the Center with another six children. The family unit day care is a model developed by Unitaf where six infants are cared for by one adult woman. The OLWV Center provides the space and the food, Unitaf provides the guidance and supervision.

Now, another four family units have been opened for another twenty four children. Two of the units are situated in the Saint Joseph’s Annex, a building located alongside the OLWV Center. The infants that were accepted are from the various migrant groups in Tel Aviv – a majority of Eritreans, some Filipinos, Indians and Sri Lankans. The center in Saint Joseph's Annex is named Rose's Nursery, in the memory of a Lady of the Holy Sepulcher and great benefactor of the Church in the Holy Land.

Another two units were opened in a rented apartment nearby and they are administered by two Eritrean women. These two units are connected to the work directed by Sister Dinesha and subsidized by the donors to the Our Lady Woman of Valor Center. These two units accept children from the community of asylum seekers in particular.

The collaboration with Unitaf, an organization that takes care of infants from the migrant communities in south Tel Aviv, with the donors from Europe and the United States and with the members of the team at the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center, enables us to take engage in this essential work for the physical and spiritual health of these infants.
