Members of about twenty Christian Arab families gathered together to celebrate Christmas in the Beer Sheba kehilla. The evening began with the Eucharist celebrated in Arabic by Fr. Rafic, responsible for the Jerusalem kehilla.

After mass, there was time to sing Christmas songs from the Maronite, Melkite and Latin traditions. Food flowed in enormous quantities including typical delicacies like tabouleh, fattoush, baklava and much more.

The culmination of the evening was the appearance of Santa Claus, who came to give presents to all the children. Surprise and joy accompanied everyone till the end. Many thanks to all who organized and helped to prepare the event.
