This year the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center is home to two family day care units with six toddlers in each unit. On Friday, December 18, the families and staff gathered around the toddlers to celebrate Christmas together. Seven of the twelve toddlers are Eritrean, three are Indians, one is Sri Lankan and one is Filipino. The ethnic diversity contributed greatly to the celebration, especially when it came to the food.

Sister Dinesha, the director of the two units, welcomed all present and Father David, Latin Patriarchal Vicar responsible for migrants, gave a Christmas message. Carols were sung and fun activities filled the time until it was the hour to eat. Eritrean, Indian, Sri Lankan and Filipino food was in abundance. Among the special guests were Ofira, Noa and two volunteers from Unitaf, the Israeli NGO with whom the center works in close collaboration.
