The Divine Mercy Filipino Community in Tel-Aviv celebrated their Christmas party on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Almost two hundred volunteers, guests and visitors came to share in the joy and thanksgiving for the blessings and graces received during the past year. The theme of the Christmas party was: "Awa at pagmamahal ang diwa ng Pasko" which is translated as "Divine Mercy and Love is the meaning of Christmas."

Talents in dancing, singing and drama were part of the celebration as the different ministries of the church community such as: the lectors and commentators, the usherettes and greeters, the acolytes, the different choir groups, the El-Shaddai and the Couples for Christ competed for prizes. Joy and camaraderie reigned in the community during this celebration.

A "Raffle Draw for a Cause" was drawn during the program. The proceeds will be spent to help the sick, the needy and the disadvantaged.

On that same night, the community also celebrated the 11th anniversary of the ordination of Father Michael Grospe, the priest-in-charge of the Divine Mercy Filipino Community. Capturing his 11 years' experience as a priest, Father Michael said with gratitude: "God is faithful!" After short video messages from his family, from his co-priests and the community, Father Michael delivered a short but meaningful message to the community. "I am still here with you, because God never backtracked from his promises. He remains faithful to me until now and he will remain faithful forever!" He asked the community to continue to pray for him as he serves the needs of the community.
