Twenty members of the CPAM from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Nazareth and Haifa gathered at 10.00 in the morning for a day of reflection and prayer. Father Bienvenido OFM, chaplain of the Holy Family Filipino community in Nazareth gave a beautiful reflection on the Mercy of God in the Bible, focusing particularly on mercy in the life of Christ. This was followed by time for private prayer and then a sharing in small groups.

Father Carlos OFM, superior of the Franciscan community in Jaffa, celebrated mass and this was followed by a shared lunch.

In the afternoon, Father David SJ, Latin Patriarchal Vicar, shared on the makeup of the Local Church and the diversity that is represented among the Christians of the Holy Land today. The role of the CPAM is also to make the faithful more aware of the different parts of the Church, promoting unity.

The day ended with a time of silent prayer together in the chapel and a final blessing given by Father Cristian, chaplain of the Rumanian community.
