The feast opens the celebration of a year that commemorates one hundred years since Blessed Charles’ death. Father Rafic, the responsible for the Jerusalem kehilla, pointed to what we might all learn from Blessed Charles in this year. “We are called to become little, like Blessed Charles, so that the greatness of God might shine through us”.

The Little Sisters and Brothers of Jesus have been an integral part of the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities in Israel since the very beginning. Joining them in this celebration were some of the Little Sisters from the Old City of Jerusalem, who live among the Palestinians, as well as many other friends of the congregation.
