Fr. Michael Grospe, Priest-In-Charge of the Divine Mercy Filipino Catholic Community in Tel-Aviv presided over the formal Commissioning of the elected leaders of the different ministries within the Mass on the Feast of Christ, the King last Saturday, November 21, 2015. Thirty four elected leaders of the Church's Ministries which included the Lectors and Commentators, the Acolytes, the Ushers and Greeters, the Music Ministry (composed by various choir groups) The El-Shaddai Evangelizers, the Couples for Christ Family Ministry, Food and Services, the Socio-Cultural and Social Action Ministry, and The Trip-for-A-Cause Ministry.

Sr. Regina Cobrador, SPC, the Adviser of the Liturgical Ministry called each elected officer to express their commitment to serve the Church in the presence of the assembly. As each officer was called, he/she responded "Here I am, Lord, I come to serve You!" Then, Fr. Michael Grospe, ascertained their commitment to serve through a series of questions. He reminded the officers that their ministry is not for popularity or selfish motives, rather, it is in the spirit of the Lord Jesus "who came to serve, and not to be served." The officers reiterated their commitment to serve the Lord and the community and Fr. Michael laid his hands over them in prayer and sent them in the name of the Lord Jesus to bear and proclaim the Good News in their lives and in their ministries.

The previous leaders/officers including Bhea Tabuso, Erlyn Hilario, Tess Santiago and Ryan Reyes who served the Divine Mercy Filipino Catholic Community were given a plaque of appreciation for the services they have rendered.
