Interreligious general audience in Saint Peter’s Square
On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, the 50th anniversary of the publication of Nostra Aetate, Pope Francis addressed the issue of interreligious dialogue in his general audience in the presence of representatives from the great religious traditions of the world.
Pope Francis encouraged religious people from all faith traditions and those who have no faith to work together to resolve the major issues that face our world: peace, hunger, misery. the environmental crisis and violence, especially violence in the name of religion.

Participants in an interreligious conference at the Gregorian University in Rome attended the audience and together gave a press conference on the significance of Nostra Aetate.
