First Anniversary of Cardinal Lustiger's Death

One year ago, on August 5, 2007, Jean-Marie Lustiger, Cardinal Archbishop of Paris, died. A great friend of the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities in Israel, he is remembered by many for his contribution to the life of the Church and especially for his untiring work to improve Jewish-Christian relations. Rivka Karplus, a member of the Jerusalem kehilla, attended the memorial mass in the Benedictine monastery in Abu Ghosh and sent us this report.
