Our brother Alberto – priest

On Monday, June 29, 2015, on the Feast of Saint Peter and Paul, our beloved brother Alberto Pari, who belongs to the Franciscan order, was ordained a priest by Patriarch Fouad Twal, in the presence of the Custos, Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, and the Vatican Nuncio, Archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto. Together with Alberto, five other Franciscan brothers were ordained priests and four were ordained deacons. Many priests and faithful attended the ceremony in Saint Savior’s Church, some of them havng travelled from afar, from South America, Croatia, Italy etc.. There were members of the Jaffa and Jerusalem kehillot who came to be present and pray especially for Alberto. We wish him a life of service overflowing with love for Christ and for his Church.
