First communion in Our Lady Woman of Valor 2015

At the first mass for Pentecost at the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in Tel Aviv, forty five children from the Filipino community received first communion. The children had prepared for one year with Father Piotr, responsible for the Beer Sheba kehilla, and Benny, seminarian for the Saint James Vicariate. These children are one group among the more than one hundred children that attend catechism classes in the Center.

Father David Neuhaus, Latin Patriarchal Vicar, celebrated the Pentecost mass and gave first communion to the children, all dressed in white and surrounded by their enthusiastic parents. The mass was concelebrated by Father Michael Grospe, director of the Pastoral Center and chaplain of the Divine Mercy Filipino community in south Tel Aviv.
