Special concert – Damayruz

The concert was the fruit of a project by the students of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, among them two members of the kehillot, Samia, who lives in the Vicariate community in Israel, a singer, and Lexia, a violinist.

The concert was a medley of songs titled “Damayruz”, made up of songs of the well-known late Israeli singer Shoshana Damari and the great Lebanese singer Fayruz. The musicians and singers were Jews and Arabs, who study together in the Academy.
Half the Vicariate community attended this unique evening.
