The main destination of the journey was the Way of the Cross, where the community participated in the traditional prayer. After a meeting with Father Rafic, responsible for the Jerusalem kehilla, and some members of the families that live in Jerusalem, as well as with those who came with their cars, the entire group entered the Old City through Herod's Gate.
The prayer started in the Church of Flagellation and continued all the way to the Holy Sepulcher Church. In some chapels traditional Lenten song were sung in Hebrew and in Arabic. Father Piotr prepared and guided the spiritual meditations for all the stations. After a short visit in the Basilica of the Resurrection that was very crowded, there was free time and the possibility to stay for quiet prayer and to go shopping in the Old City.
The last point of the trip was lunch in a beautiful place near the Muristan with a splendid view of Jerusalem. Many thanks to all who helped to prepare the trip, especially to Elisabeth and to all the participants.
