The Last Volume of Jacques Fontaine

Christine Ajacques, the niece of fr. Jacques Fontaine, OP (+2019) informs that the last part of her uncle's "La Bible sur le terrain" was published and is available in bookstores in France.

Jacques Fontaine (1921-2019), was a Dominican priest, the co-founder of the Saint Isaiah Institute (Centre for Jewish studies of the Dominicans in Jerusalem, from 1960 to 1997).

He was a tireless guide that has revolutionized pilgrimages through an incarnation of the Bible in the field during a Trinitarian journey: in the name of the Father in the Southern Deserts and of the Son in Galilee, and of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem. Fr. Fontaine's sermons were recorded by RCF Radio Lyon. They were published as books without having lost any of their freshness.

The last part of the trilogy came out recently. It is an amazing story about the Holy City, that takes up the biblical experience at the origins of human condition, as made in the image of God. Its perspective is the universal calling to the experience of Christ's death and resurrection.
