Memories of Pope John Paul II’s visit among us
The Sisters of Our Lady of Sion in Ein Karem brought out photo albums during the Easter week and remembered how the Hebrew speaking communities went out to participate in the solemn mass that Pope John Paul II celebrated in the Galilee in March 2000.
We publish here a few of the photographs of that rainy but joy-filled day that we experienced together in our participation in the mass celebrated by Pope John Paul II at Korazin in the Galilee. Despite the rain, the mud, the crowds, the delays and the exhaustion, we not only survived but returned home full of joy and thanksgiving.
Let us pray for the visit of Pope Benedict among us... and this time too we will go out to pray with him!
